Established in 2013 by founders Eamonn Seydak and Simon Lennon, S3 is an independent consultancy company. We focus our work specifically on the community & voluntary and public sectors.
Our interest and passion for the sector originated from our past experience of both working and volunteering there, primarily in sport and community development.
Much of our work involved applying for funding and supporting organisations to access funding. This evolved into two distinct but connect companies: S3 Consulting and FundReady, two companies dedicated to supporting organisations on their mission to deliver positive social change. We recruit exceptional people who have the right experience and talent, but above all, share our passion for the sector and the belief that our work has a purpose and can make an impact.
Our multidisciplinary team includes individuals with legal, business, research, economic and community development qualifications as well as backgrounds in local authorities, community development, peace building, sport, health & wellbeing and youth & women’s sector.
We work across the UK and Ireland and are proud to have our roots in Belfast with regional offices in Derry and Dublin.
The quality of our work is the start and end point for us, we pay attention to the detail and we deliver for our clients. We always carry out our work ethically and with integrity, we have an accessible team and are easy to work with.
Our background as community development practitioners and volunteers is what fuels our approach. Across all of our projects, we seek purpose in our work and we want to make a difference, we are not interested in reports that have no impact.
We therefore use the principles of academic research, financial and economic valuation tools across our work, all the while focus on delivering innovative solutions that have actionable and practical uses.
